Mr. Eckert has served as a senior adviser to Permira Advisers LLP, a global private equity firm, since December 2022. He served as chief executive officer of Zelis, Inc. (“Zelis”), a provider of healthcare cost management and payments solutions, from August 2020 to August 2021. Prior to joining Zelis, he was resident and chief executive officer of Acelity L.P., Inc., a global wound care company, from April 2017 until the sale of the company in October 2019. Mr. Eckert currently serves as chairman of Lytx, Inc., where he also served as interim chief executive officer in 2024 and 2025, and as a director of Becton, Dickinson and Company and chairman of of Kipu Health LLC. He previously served as a director of Varian Medical Systems, Inc. from 2004 to 2021, including serving as chairman from 2014 to 2021, and as a director of Vyaire Medical Inc. from 2020 to October 2023.
Mr. Eckert has a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering as well as an MBA, both from Stanford University.
